This is going to be another Tara Maclay moment isn’t it? The fact that Evelyn Brochu doesn’t have her name in the opening credits makes me fear that she’s going to be offed at some point. If they suddenly put her name in there, I’m going to freak out and just stop watching because I know they only do that when bad things are going to happen.

My eye caught a dark form lying on the river bottom. It took me a few moments to comprehend what I had stumbled upon. Lying peacefully in the shallow waters of the river, only a few meters from shore, was a full-grown cougar. The contrast between the serenity of the scene I was witnessing and what must have played out here in the cougar’s final moments made me shiver. It was the first shiver of many, as I stripped down and waded out into the icy water to get this shot. x

Ok, so Sarah and Paul get kitchen table/shower/etc sex scenes; Allison and Chad get touchdown minivan sex scene; Cosima and Delphine get backlit makesouts and end up in bed looking fresh in their undies. One of these things is ~~completely typical of tv shows these days~~ not like the other.

Ok, so random thought- let me know if anyone agrees or has an opinion, maybe I missed something:

Delphine doesn’t really need to sleep with Cosima to get info for Dr. Leekie. Cosima totally gives her an out with the whole “I wanna make crazy science with you” thing. She could have just went with that and kept it at the friend level without going the sexy route (so glad she did though). I think maybe her feelings for Cosima are genuine (obviously she cares for her, but I think maybe she’s falling for her too). Not really sure where that puts her with Aldus though- her creepy rendezvous didn’t look like it was her idea, and it’s hard to tell if she’s actually into him during the car scene.

Wishful thinking?

Edit: This is all the more interesting when combined with crayonboxhearts analysis since it is ultimately Delphine that goes in for the kiss this time
